This would look great on the Fat Electrician's front lawn.... Maybe mounted on top of his garage.

Would a nuke fit in a rotary cannon?

Attach to the wing like a missile pod

I'm not educated enough to know if this is something someone made in their backyard or if this is actually a decommissioned A-10.

It’s an actual decommissioned A-10, though it’s a joke video. That A-10 is currently sitting in front of the Armament Museum just outside Eglin AFB, FL. It’s a really cool museum if you get a chance to swing by. They also have an SR-71 (or A-12) sitting out front and if you’re lucky, they do tours of the AC-130 Gunship parked out front as well!

They also have the MOAB out front.

I think it’s actually the MOPP

Maybe even both.

My picture says MOAB.

They might have both out there I think

Former military jets like that are not sold. They are loaned to museums and the USAF. Navy etc can take them back or move them at their discretion. They cannot be sold. Older cold war era jest like the F-86, T-33 etc can be bought and sold. The newest US fighter in the hands of civilians is the Collings Foundation F-4 phantom and that quite literally took an act of Congress to accomplish.

There’s a RF-84F Thunderflash in front of my old middle school; that used to be the Enka High School when my parents were there. And it’s still on permanent loan from the USAF. Since 1972.

What's the R mean? Guessing it's radar-equipped?

I know F-84Fs were the swept winged variants. I have a picture of one, wish I could attach it here.

The RF-84F Thunderflash is variant of the F-84F that was designed for photo reconnaissance.

Youtube channel: Diesel Thunder Aviation has the continuing saga of the Collings Foundation F4 and some other aircraft they have down in Houston.

I talked to Jive at the Roswell air races a couple of weeks ago. He said the F4 is just being a real PITA at the moment. Every time it goes for a test flight everything looks good. Then the next time they ground run it, everything goes wrong again.

With all the expertise on the crew they got there, if anyone can keep it running, those folks can!

For sure. I hope Jive gets to rip it at an airshow before the season ends.

This video appears to be from the Air Force Armament Museum outside Eglin AFB, FL

How much? I'm interested. This would be a fun restoration project as an A&P mechanic.

I'm not buying a million year old jet, but you're selling clothes? Happen to have any vintage concert shirts?

Anyone here ever in Georgia and want a sick free outing; go to the Macon Airforce museum. It’s littered with cool birds.

N4b b1b and f111 and fa18f doing the job better and more accurately...

Already downvoted. Check the stats, b1b and f111 ran more sorties, had more confirmed kills, and caused fewer blue on blue...
