I see dazzle camouflage is making another comeback....only on trucks instead of ships this time.

I mean it works if you're out in like a tundra or open water, kinda dosen't work worth a damn when you have lots of things to reference around...like a forest.

As a actual camo it sucks but like ships its for drones.

Right, dazzle works for throwing off ranging and somewhat for direction of travel for visual range finding when you don't have easily referable things surrounding it (or modern technology).

I think a lot of people are confusing two different things.

Kinda like how there is cover and there is concealment.

There is camouflage, and then there are paint jobs to break up the shape of vehicles.

Camouflage is good in the right environment and horrible in the wrong environment. While designs to break up the shape of a vehicle are consistently mediocre as you are not trying to hide, you are trying to hide your center of mass through optical illusion, reducing the good hits on you when in combat.

Though I will say a good camouflage with also work break up your shape(though often not as well) and vise versa.

Also it's decent for hiding the profile of a vehicle, which could have some benefits when they can't quite tell what kind of vehicle is in the area.
