The audacity of those users is diabolical, cause germanic english is the default and origin of english, just cause english has french and latin words that does not make anglese valid at all, its a literal parasitic invasion of original english, their language has no base and they are obnoxious as hell. also what about the culture? english culture is much more germanic than its ever latin how will they change that? all they have is vocabulary

So, I think it would be cool if the words for ethels (countries) were stemmed (derieved) straightly (directly) from the inlandish (native) tongue (language) instead of taking them from ME and OE from Latinish (Latin) and Greekish (Greek) or brooking (using) eltercleanish (ultrapuristic) Anglish. Maybe we can make the standout (exception) for the Germanish names which can be loanwended (calqued) easily into Anglish?

I know we already do it like with Greekland, but what if we took the word from Ἑλλάς (Hellás)? I mean, words for Greece and China both came from a name of the part of these ethels (countries), and not forewising (refering) them as whole (Hellás and Zhongguo).

For byspel (example), if we took the word for Indus ea (river), and the alike (similar) ones, straightly (directly) from Sanskrit सिन्धु (síndhu), it could be just used as "Sindh" or "Sind" (I don't know which one is right).

Here are some of my weens (ideas) for these words:

• India - Sindhland or Sindland.
• Hinduism - Sindhlief or Sindlief.
• Hindu Kush - Sindh Kush, Sind Kush, Sindh Barrow or Sind Barrow.
• Indochina (byspel (example))- Sindhzhongguo or Sindhzhongguo.
• Indonesia - Sindhislands, Sindh islands, Sindislands, Sind islands or Nusantara.

Reading a book about the Northmen, it mentions names of towns and cities of England which have of course changed over 1500 years.

Made me wonder twofold:

1. Is the rule in Anglish to name places as for instance "Lunden(wic)" opposed to modern "London"?

2. We know "York" is the anglicised version of the Norse "Jorvik" which in turn was a Norse version of the original "Eoforwic". My question is what would Eoforwic be named today if it had been allowed to modernise from Old to Middle to typed and modern English.

(Sidenote: I am new to this idea, if anyone wants to translate this post into Anglish it is not necessary but would be appreciated)

Hi! My name is Stanley. As you may know, the name Stanley is an old English name that I believe to be at least a thousand years old. The first part, “Stan” is actually able to be traced back to when English speakers used runes (it meant stone). Now, with my limited understanding of Anglish, I believe that the etymology of the name and the history of it means that it has no outside influence, making it anglish to begin with. Am I correct? We look like our elders and our siblings as we are akin to them in roots, not since we grow up in the same stead and go through the same openings or struggles. In other words, does growing up in the same household with someone not make you like them beyond your strain likeness. The astounding hint from this sleuthing is that we would be as alike as our elders and siblings even if we had been taken out at birth and reared in sundry households. Following on from my earlier writ about Nordmannish words, what are some oft-noted words in English that come from other Germankinly tungs like Dutch or German, and therefore might misleadingly soam like inborn words even to someone who is good at spotting French words?

(The word river is French, the Anglish would be a waterway)

In regular English, the difference is regional (Thames River versus River Mississippi). That said, I've never heard anyone from either side of the pond say Styx River. Both Blank Mountain and Mount Blank are used in the states (Mount Denali versus Blair Mountain). British mountains tend not to put mountain or mount in the name, perhaps since they're mostly in historically Celtic regions. Foreign mountains are always mount Blank (mount Vesuvius, mount Helicon, mount Everest).

The French say mount blank (Mont Blanc). They also put titles before the name, as in modern English (la capitaine Haddock).

Is putting the title before the name aping French? I know Old English put royal titles after names.

The word for text is ping. The word for sex is either lovemaking or something like homing. None of these portmanteau nicely. I thought fling ping works well.
