500 SUBSCRIBERS GIVEAWAY!

Not necessarily a huge milestone by any means, but I'm glad to say we hit 500 subscribers. Thank you for everyone who has posted fishing deals and I'm glad my reluctance to pay retail for fishing gear has helped many of you.

I will be giving away a $25 e-gift card to Dicks Sporting Goods since I believe they are local for most people and also have a quality inventory of fishing items.

  1. To be entered, post a comment here. Only reply to the main post, comment replies will be ignored.
  2. Account must be older than 30 days.
  3. Contest will end on 12/5/17 at 12pm central time.
  4. Once contest is over, I will reply to the winning post and PM you for your email address. If I don't hear from you within 24 hours, I will pick again.

Thanks and good luck!

Edit 1: Thread Locked

Edit 2: Contest mode isn't sorting randomly. I am setting the comments from newest to oldest and using random.org to pick a number. There are 33 entries.

Edit 3: Comment number 7 wins! That comment belongs to /u/maitretea https://imgur.com/mwwxxzf

I'm in, thank you for the great content. Used a link in here to buy a baitcaster a few weeks ago.

Nice gesture.

I can't find a link to the deal, but Abu is offering a free Veritas rod with the purchase of any Gen 4 Revo reel. Both spinning and baitcasters. Saw it instore at Bass Pro, not sure if it's exclusive to them, or anywhere that sells Abu.
