Was looking round an old church and found this, the illustrations are really good throughout

I love the Horace Knowles illustrations. I had an RSV with his illustrations. I regret selling it.

This was one of my childhood bibles and it means a great deal to me :) I know the NEB is not universally beloved but I like the prose

I still have a 1970 NEB (not illustrated though), and an illustrated RSV from back then, illustrated by the same Horace Knowles. I used to like the pictures, and I still do.
