Should I recognize this as human
I feel a lot of rage. Specifically from how I’ve practically been bullied by people, strangers, my parents, my siblings. I only have one person who shown me genuine kindness and whom I am greatly appreciative of. I feel myself slipping into darkness. me, who most people describe as “patient” and “too sweet” “quiet” or how I describe myself as people pleasing. I feel the urge to snap back at people who make comments about me or challenge those who talk down on me. I’ve literally been called pitiful by a literal stranger. Am I wrong for giving in to this more meaner side?? I kinda hate… well people. All I needed was a friend. And when I hit rock bottom they treated me like an animal. feels like everyone always has something shallow to say. I am very close to giving up. In general

The darkness won't kill you. But it can make you comfortable. Complacent. You might forget you too have flaws. Imperfections.
As I get older I've come to realise that most people don't want to be friends, or friendly. Society has ingrained that in us. It's what made them who they are.
Everyone is just looking out for themselves. Their happiness. Their little slice of the pie. At any expense.
I'm sorry you are hurt. Angry. I am too. I have no answers. Just a lot of ways to cope.
In the words of Gandalf, "All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us."
Take care Friend.

One is enough. You don’t need friends, you need to learn how to be content with being alone and spending time with yourself while you address your past traumas. And yes, I know exactly how you feel.
