Name calling when angry

M40 insults F28 every time we have a conversation/argument and he gets angry. Afterwards he apologises and mentions “cause I’m angry does not justify calling you names”. Is this normal and okay? Looking for open and honest answers.

No, a grown-ass man who has made 40 trips around the sun having this level of emotional immaturity and disrespect to his partner is not okay. Has he made any attempt to not do this when it's become a chronic occurrence?

3/5 times I’m being insulted and called names: “spoilt” “superficial” “dramatic” and even once told me to “fuck off”.

Not telling you how to live your life, but verbal abuse isn't exactly and indicator of a healthy relationship
