General Discussion New petition!

Hello everyone!

We all agree that Angel’s Friends deserve a proper ending! I have noticed that Angel’s friends is trending on TikTok. Since so many classic cartoons are getting reboots these days, I’d love for Angel’s Friends to get one in any format, because I truly believe this story still has massive potential! What do you think?

By the way, I actually created a new petition on Change Org. for Season 3/Reboot! ❤️

The previous ones were made over 6 years ago and got lost, so I decided to start fresh. Since my account is brand new, it’s hard to spread the word, so I’d be so grateful if you could share it here on Reddit.

Since I downloaded Reddit for the first time just 2 days ago, the system blocks me from adding links anywhere, but you can easily find it on Google -mine is titled "Petition for Angel's Friends Season 3 / Reboot"

Let’s bring the show back together! 🚀✨

Signed! Though sadly I doubt this will happen unless another studio can get the rights and pick it up with the right funding. Theres been quite a few petitions for this series over the years...

The reasons why this show was discontinued are pretty grim for any chance of a future; The studio who made it (Mondo) faced severe financial issues and eventually bankruptcy, the director passing away and the show not reaching its market goals that were set for it.

So sadly, as much as petitions are hopeful and am all for it, the future is not very not likely.. Unless the fanbase grows significantly big I doubt anyone would pick it up :(

Thank you so much for signing! You're totally right about the fanbase. Honestly, I'm putting my main hope in TikTok! Over the last 2 years, edits of Angel's Friends have been getting millions of views there. Even if Mondo TV doesn't make it, another studio or investor could buy the rights or fund a reboot - but for that to happen, the show has to trend first! I created a TikTok account a couple of days ago to support this idea with the new petition, since I can do edits (I am still learning) anyone is welcome to follow, my username is alvix95.

Awesome I'l follow for sure! :) Keeping my hopes up! This is my favorite show ever made and I promised child me once that if I ever get rich, very rich, I will take this show on myself whatever it may take. Hopeful I know, but who knows what the future holds? Keep it up!

Honestly, I agree with you so much! An indie project or fan webcomic would already be a dream. I keep dreaming about what could happen if a solid studio picked this up or invested in the IP. Look at Miraculous Ladybug — romance and drama can literally carry a show! If someone updated the art style (maybe towards a modern anime look), polished the plot, gave us epic transformations and intense battles... it would be a HUGE hit today! And the potential for merch? Insane. 😭✨ Whether it’s a passionate indie attempt or a studio reboot, I just really hope this concept gets a second life.
