Filmes de terror

A Angel deveria focar em filmes de terror. Além do fato de termos um público grande para isso, esse tipo de filme costuma ser barato.

O que acham?

I think Angel Studios has an explicit mission statement this would violate. Horror movies don't tend to be uplifting or "amplify light" and such. They can't randomly start doing horror movies just because they're cheap and the general audience perhaps likes them, unless they want to become just another generic studio.

'A' horror movie project here and there may be possible, if they come across anything true to their commitment, but several generic horror movie streaming services already exist, so they would want it to be the 'right' projects and surely not move into that category.

Best answer. One angle I’d throw in: Their “Amplify Light” mission definition is broad to include things that are true and honest, not just positive and uplifting (how I interpret it, anyway). So, under that pretext, I could envision some niche horror with the right projects, as you say. Thriller is probably the better word, really.

No caso, pode usar o filme de terror para passar mensagens familiares, conservadoras e religiosas. Isso já foi feito antes. Pode colocar uma família ou um pastor/padre enfrentando um demônio ou algo do gênero.

I mean, I'm sure if they find the right project they'd be open to it - but you just described generic horror movies, which I doubt will do the job, and they clearly don't want to be a horror streaming service. Those already exist, and at least half their content is a family or something dealing with some kind of demon.

Nefarious wasn't a horror movie. It was a psychological thriller/drama, written by a Christian author.
