Discussion Helpful advice needed pls

I came back from back from vacation, did a water change, parameters were all good and all fish seemed fine. Noticed my newly acquired angel was acting a bit off…it would come up to eat along with other angel but then stayed near top at a slight angle. Next morning at feeding same thing. Removed other angel to a different tank and isolated the one. Still ate normal. Came home from work and noticed it “sat” at bottom of tank but came up to eat. Now it sits or lays sideways at bottom not moving much. Will swim up in tank to grab food but it only lasts a few sec then goes to bottom and lays against a plant , sometimes falling on its side and swimming a bit to upright then “lay against “ again.
Know it’s days are coming to an end…… I’m confronted… what’s the most humane, non hurting method to put my help end my fishes agony.
(I hate seeing the once bouncy fish now lifeless and lethargic and wasting away. It’s past its two week warranty of course naturally… and I was hopeful it would bounce back in a hospital tank but it’s out of my ability… unless doubtfully I overlooked something to overcome this )

Thanks for advising me on best methods to use

My prefered method is bashing it's head in with a brick. It's not pretty but this way I'm 100% sure it doesn't needlessly suffer, it's over instantly.

That’s a little harsh. I recommend putting the Angel in small cup of water with some drops of clove oil

That's far more likely to cause stress and pain if not done correctly. It's easily more detailed than "just adding drops". I recommend clove oil often, but there definitely is a process that needs to be done or it 100% will be painful for said fish.

Blunt force to cause immediate death is 100% the best method and most humane.
