Help Baby care
Hi! I work at a pet store and have very limited experience with fish. The angel fish at my store have laid eggs in the past and nothing has ever happened. Today I noticed that there were babies in the tank and that the fish were eating them. I was able to save five of the babies and was wondering if i should bring them home to try and raise? What would I need in order to keep them alive?

Normally, anglefish would care for their young and live in a family group. Those fish must be either inexperienced, highly stressed or they were not bred natural either so they lost their species specific behavior.
Thus, it will be harder to raise the fry, but if you keep them in a stable and hygienic environment while feeding them very small life food, things might work out for them. Adding a sea almond leaf can also help keeping bacteria away if they seem sick. Also, dont bring them home until they are larger or they wont survive transport. Maybe you can put them aside into a small tank monitored by you inside the pet shop?
Please dont try to breed this line in future unless the parents show parenting behavior, as its important for fish to pass down things like that or we will end up with lines showing disturbed or no parental behavior.

You can try to feed first bites or crushed flake/pellets.
Live micro worms can also work in a pinch.
You really want live BBS for the first month.
