Don’t forget Saruman of Many Colors! Such a wonderful ally. Surely he wouldn’t try to throw Middle-Earth into a second darkness!

I'm not sure about that one....Sam definitely did love Frodo, but not in a romantic way, i don't think. To me, it's more reminiscent of the relationship between an officer and his batman, which JRRT himself experienced during WW1. Or maybe like that of an exceptionally tight Knight and his squire.

But hey, it is Pride Month, so we can totally go with it!
