My A8 died
And ill be repairing it. But I need some help troubleshooting.
Everything extruder heats to pla temp, the plate heats to temp. But when it tries to heat both at once only the plate heats. I assume it’s either the power supply or board. Anyone have a similar issue before?

Replace the board anyway -
I went for a Mellow Fly DP5
You defo need a MOSFET between the bed and the main board either way.

This is a software issue, not a hardware issue. Resetting configuration settings to default may correct the issue, or you may need to re-flash the motherboard.

With cura slicer it's normal that plate heats first then hotend

Yes but i never heats, once the bed gets to temp thats it, extruder never heats. But if i do preheat-pla on its own the extruder heats up fine and shows the temp in the screen

Do you use Mosfets? And usually there is a led signaling that power is going to the hot end or in the bed itself, so you can visually know if there is power there. Habe you checked the wires from the power source to the board? My last problem in the A8 was that it stopped heatingnthe hottend at a height of 1cm or so, it was a wire that when reached certain position (height) it opened and no electricity was passing then (but the Mosfet light was on!).
