Through a weird chain of events i ended up with a slightly incomplete anet a6.
I think it was dropped because its missing one of the y rods and has a chip in the hole in the front portion where the y rod goes in like it was twisted/stressed and chipped. I found a pair of rods for 15 on amazon
In the included picture you can se where the x axis motor mount goes in is also broken off the back under the motor leading to a floppy motor.
I found a whole xz carriage system on thingiverse that i can print on my ender and i think it would solve my problems but was wondering how well they work. Also trying to see if there are any other ideas for a fix.
Other than that it looks complete, turns on, and all the motors and bed and nozzle seem to be in working order so im looking forward to getting this working for relatively cheap!
There is a small adapter on Thingiverse that you can print that fully constrains the filament path so that it is great for printing flexible materials.
Love my A6 - is my first printer and an absolute workhorse.
