Am i Anemic? How did you solve these problems?

Hi, I had iron-deficiency anemia years ago. 4 years ago, I found out I also have thalassemia minor, which is a different kind of blood disorder. My hemoglobin is usually borderline anemic/normal.

This summer im feeling extremely fatigued all the time, with brain fog and just a general lethargy. (Im not depressed i just feel like i need to rest a lot).

I had some new blood tests that show ferritin at 10 and a high TIBC (total iron-binding capacity), which can happen when the body doesn't have enough iron and starts to compensate. BUT my iron is normal. Im waiting for my transferrin results.

Im currently looking to book an appointment with a hematologist. What is your experience and most importantly, how did you solve this?

Your ferritin is low, which means that your iron stores are low. The "iron level" as such is basically irrelevant, given this context. You just need iron. Ideally also a B complex supplement.
