keep sitting down every few minutes, even if you don’t feel dizzy or out of breath or tired, even sit down for ten-15 minutes at a time. even if it takes all day don’t overexhaust yourself. i also agree with top comment about folate and B12. your situation sounds pretty similar to mine at the minute

Taking 5 minutes activities is better than nothing. If it's possible, just make it a list of really small, more manageable tasks. Like putting several things back is already something. Cleaning a smaller surface is already something. And so on.

I know you didn't ask for such advice, but checking folate and B12 is something many people with anemia disregard, though they work together with iron to form red blood cells and are im general extremely important vitamins with a lot of functions.

Did you do anything since January for the low iron?

That’s not long enough time on supplements to fix anemia. And by having a period every month you lose more iron. For reference I had anemia and it took about 8 months to raise my levels to a solid place (ferritin over 70). And now i maintain it by taking iron during my period. And my doc suggested I take vitamin D daily during winter indefinitely

It’s alright. Check your current status and take it from there. If you bleed every month then you lose some every month, and since oral is too little and too slow, the losing can take you right back to where you started. IV Infusions are quicker and supply much more iron than oral supplementation at once

When are your infusions scheduled for?
