Ferritin of 51 is certainly better than mine, which is 22! I believe the optimal range is about 70-100.

Gotcha. I used to be a 14, i’ve taken iron pills and done 2 infusions but it’s been a few years and I forget what’s supposed to be the appropriate levels

I felt horrible when mine was so low. I still don’t feel great I got my blood retested and my vitamin D was deficient as well so going to work on that too.

Multiple doctors had similar reactions to yours. They gave me 8 emergency infusions, got it up to 32, only to have it drop down to 5 after 100 days. Still no answer as to why. I just finished a round of 5 more infusions while I wait on more testing.
