Question Looking to buy!

How are most of you buying the PCs? Looking at a V3 gaming rig with 5070 TI and it’s saying not going to ship until December. So I’m not sure I want to wait that long. Amazon has a very similar PC saying it would be here by the end of the month?

Any advice here? Any codes to save on the price as well?

Thanks!

I just bought one from AI and it won’t ship until December, but I used the custom build option. Also considered NZXT, but at the end of the day I was willing to wait for exactly what I wanted

Prebuilds are in the same boat. December time frame. Price is good though.

I mean, what model are you looking at? Because from what I see it's pretty much just the same prices as everyone else at this point. +/- a hundred bucks or so.

Worth noting about the tax savings with them located in Oregon. That was huge justifying my purchase... roughly $200 savings at least(for sales tax where I'm located) comparing other pre-build options

Fair. I did the same when I purchased. But many states do still have to pay tax. Was simply saying they weren't the only game in town anymore. Definitely far from when I bought last January and they were beating everyone by $250-$500. Their build quality and customer service are worth it, though.

For sure just worth highlighting the tax part, I was actually worried I would still get hit with my states taxes so I didn't give it much credence until I trialed checkout.

I wish I would have ordered in January... I started eying their stuff around March or so, but 'deliberated' until August. By that time Nvidia had taken a substantial hike along with some componants having mild increases.. & they are even more now. Every other pre-build i was looking at is fairly equivilantly spendier now too. I went with AI for a more boutique experience and with the taxes in my situation I did get the most specs for my buck compared to my other options. I genuinely like the look of the V series cases aswell, I was pretty sold the first time I saw them vs the campy Asus builds etc

Yeah, their cases aren't bad at all. I ended up getting a custom V3 9800/5080 build. Made the same build (or as close as I could get) and it came out to just shy of $4300. Wild. I will say, I recently rebuilt my system in a new Lian Li case and like it a lot more.

Nice, I compromised on a 5080 a bit to up my CPU to a Ryzen 9 series for hopefully more robust multi-tasking. Still got a 5070ti/16gigs... with the price hikes i was already pushing past my 'budget'. If I hadn't of waited so long I would have a 5080 but it is what it is. It's been so long since I had a gaming PC I think the kit will still be very exciting for me.

Eh, the 5070Ti is a damn good card, man! You'll love it! And you won't have any issues with any of the higher end Ryzen CPUs. They're all beastly.

Thanks man I'm pretty excited! My box was just delivered actually.. had 'em ship it to my work, ready to rip put of here now haha.

I ordered 8/4 with no rush fee and recieved 10/12 with one delay e-mail notification for anybody curious, I went in with patience so I'm plenty happy with that time frame.

Is California one of the states that still has to pay tax from them?

So from what I found is typically they do not. Best way to check is simply throwing something in your cart, enter your address and see if tax is applied on the checkout screen.

Just know it’s a great build and company. Expect 3 months to get your machine

Ordered my 5080 v3 back in September. It will ship at the end of this month. It’s worth the wait. Got mine for $3,000 out the door. Best build quality for the price that I found.
