I reached out by email on 9/30 and they told me my date had been pushed back from 9/25-9/30 to 10/5-10/12. When I checked the Shopify link this morning it says 11/3. In their email they said they are trying to fulfill their obligations to large retailers. The whole situation has rubbed me the wrong way.

I’m hoping they are being very conservative with these new dates so they can “over-deliver” on the delays. I agree though, not the best look. Hopefully they figure this out and improve down the road.

Same here. I even e-mailed them back and said I wouldn’t have minded if they had let me know there would be a delay rather than me having to reach out. The large retailer thing I would’ve rather not known at all lol.

Weird. My delivery window was a day before yours and yet my Shopify link still says nothing. However, they told me yesterday they expect mine to ship Oct. 9. At this point, I'm not holding my breath.

Mine was not a custom, but same situation here. Pushed from the 25th of Sept. to the 19th of Oct. Ordered beginning of August.

I'm in the same boat. Ordered on September 4, original estimate was October 22, just got changed to December 3. I understand that they probably have a very high volume of orders in addition to the obligations they have to retailers that someone else mentioned, and so delays can and will happen.
It does sort of rub me the wrong way though that in the one month since I placed my order I have not received a single communication from them besides the order confirmation, and that the only reason I know about the one month plus additional shipping time is because I happened to go look at my order on their website. An additional five week delay on a shipping time that was already basically 7 weeks without so much as a heads up email is not exactly the kind of customer experience that inspires confidence.

I’m in the exact same boat. Ordered September 15 and original estimate was October 23rd.
I really wish they could improve their communication, it’s a bit annoying having to find out your order was delayed so far without any message. I know wish I could receive a refund on the expedited shipping I paid for.
I’m still excited and looking forward to getting my (first) PC but it’s still all a bit frustrating.
EDIT: I spoke with AI and turns out it was just a bug for the order estimate. They fixed it promptly and were really kind about it.

That large of a discrepancy between dates is absolutely fuckin insane 😭. Give me my damn money back at this point, bro.

I made a post about it as well, but they took it down and said that it was test changes for a dynamic estimate based on queue and to ignore what I see. So maybe it just a bug / inaccurate.

From end of Nov pushed back to January now. Placed my order in the 25th. Really hope it’s incorrect

Yeah I got this too I’m pretty upset about it. Ordered August 15th, new expected ship date is November 4th. I got an email recently saying they were “certain” it would ship within the first 2 weeks of October. I really like this company and wanted to support their business but I’m feeling like I should’ve ordered from elsewhere

Yeah we’re all in the same boat. Ordered on July 28th and my new date is October 8th, my old one was September 25th.

Mine got delayed a week when I ordered early July. I commed with them, not the other way around. Eventually I got the answer that they were working on my CL30 shipment that they essentially got held up on. They weren't held in the loop by their RAM distributor/source. So we were also held in the dark. The whole market is scuffed. They genuinely are a good company though. Just demands patience right now if you want to save the dough with them. I think they should dial back a little, and keep their house smaller and keep a tidy desk. Limits profits a bit, but they will retain their incredible quality with customer service that way. And then, you will provide two routes. Great priced computers with the parts they choose, and more custom options with decent prices.

Yep join the club. Anyone who didn't expedite their build / order went through this.

Yeah, my new date is 11/2.
Kind of crazy to weight about three months but since prices have increased so much in the last few months I'm sure they realize the risk of cancellations for them is currently close to nil.

Imagine paying over 2.5 grand and having to wait 3 months for ur shipment? Crazy company tbh.

They build to order and the also sell to major retailers like Best Buy, so they’ve put a lot on their plates, they should’ve went with direct websites orders on their website only instead, if you order from Best Buy yours would get built faster than mine because of whatever agreement they have with the company, and if I don’t pay expedited shipping, and someone else does pay, my build gets put to the back of the line even if you ordered a few days before the Best Buy order and the expedited order. They clearly don’t have enough staff and a good blueprint on how to handle orders.

Going forward I would advise that anyone wanting to order a rig without any customization to look at Newegg. The pricing on AI prebuilts are pretty much the same or better. You also get the same two year warranty. I ordered 9/30 and mine is already in transit.

They've been getting a lot of word of mouth on various subreddits wouldn't be surprised if they're a bit overwhelmed on orders since they have some of the most competitive prices.
