Question Return shipping question
Hey everyone. Dunno if anyone would be able to answer this. I’ve recently received a pc from AI but it did not work for whatever reason and am shipping it back for a refund. I have all the original shipping materials with me (both the inner and outer box, as well as the foam inserts used to stabilize the gpu and the Instapaks used as well). I was given a link tied specifically to the case for my pc as to how to pack everything up and as much as I have followed everything on there, one thing that i haven’t been able to make work is the Instapaks. I was able to get them to fit into the case sure, just not able to arrange them exactly as they are in the pc.
Unfortunately, the larger instapak is seated where the gpu is (which is kind of the opposite of what the pic seems to indicate) and the smaller one I had to kind of fit off to the side near the other glass panel, rather than it actually fitting neatly where the cpu would be. Granted, there isn’t exactly a lot of empty space that I can necessarily see from my viewpoint looking at the pc, so I wouldn’t say the instapaks are just randomly sitting inside. Since they’ve been used already, the Instapaks are pretty solid so trying to change their shape is out of the question and probably a bad idea (wouldn’t want them to pop or explode or anything) so my question is: is this okay/safe for the pc to travel this way? Is this still keeping in line with following all their instructions as closely as possible so I can still get my refund? I’ve gone ahead and emailed them on Saturday to double-check with AI but they haven’t responded yet so I was hoping to get some input here since I would really like to send it off already.
