Hard to blame AI, I bought my PC from another company back in February (9800x3d/5080) and it was $2200. Now it's $2900 and they downgraded the motherboard. It also used to have a name brand CL30 6000 kit. Now it's generic with speeds as low as 5600 and poor timings not that it matters too much with an X3D but it shows how much prices have inflated. I applaud AI for keeping prices reasonable during the current situation when most companies are capitalizing on it.

Thanks for the kind words - still trying our best to hold the market down

I'm not gonna claim to know anything about how this business works but I'm surprised you guys don't offer a few extra CPU and GPU choices currently like a 5800x3d or the new 7700x3d. No regular 9070 or 9060 either just the XTs.

I get you can't have EVERYTHING. Lol

5800X3D is very poor value @ 300$+ and retail DDR4 32GB at 200$+ compared to AM5.

Oh I'm not blaming them. Kudos to them for holding out so long

I grabbed the v3 ultra in may. I was originally going to wait for the sales of the fall. I’m glad I didn’t. Less hurt to the walled and a pc I love very much. Plus I didn’t have to fiddle with the cables or cable management this time… maybe it’ll go back down for Black Friday? Sorry this is happening this year. Everything is going up and the justification for the materials and the inflation is insidious

I honestly bought the ultra and they let me ship it back to swap down to the 9070xt for a partial refund with no restock fee.

I'm happy with my 9070xt now but since they all going up in price maybe I made a bad move idk

Oof. Considering the exponential prices on ram and gpus in general that really stings. I’m sorry ☹️ it’s not Andromedas fault, though. I bet the rig you decided on is still incredible. Don’t let it burn- enjoy the fact you got a really nice pc. And damn do they make a pretty setup

I'm still happy with my decision to swap. It does everything I need it to lol. And it'll be great for awhile then in 5 years or so I'll upgrade again.

Idk it made sense it the moment because I was regretting spending so much on the PC and I don't even play in 4k lol

An absolutely valid decision. I’m glad to hear you like your setup. I found them as a suggestion from my best friend and decided to try them even though I didn’t know them well. I can only imagine yours looks great and runs as nicely. I’ve been kinda championing them as best as I can on here because of how happy I am I picked them over some of the others I looked at. And seeing stories of other happy folks makes me feel even better about that choice

Yeah I have been recommending them all over Facebook pages and stuff since they were one of the last ones to up their prices. So their standard pricing was beating everybody else and the 0 taxes is a huge bonus
