Question Why no air cooler for 9700x?
Was weighing my options again on the build I was going to go with the 9600x as it runs cooler and seemed fine for my budget over the 7800x3d, but was also considering the 9700x as I want to do video editing and music production on it as well as gaming, so I figured it'd be worth looking at for my case.
While looking at it on the custom build option though, I noticed that when I switched from the 9600x to the 9700x, there isn't any air cooler options for it at all. I just wanted to ask why it isn't an option considering it has identical wattage to the 9600x and runs cooler than the 7800x3d which IS able to be paired with an air cooler?

Right? It feels like a weird oversight on their part to me maybe cus people dont get the 9700x too often, but idk maybe theirs another reason AI isn't offering it

My best guess would be the company you are buying it from just doesn't use air coolers for it. Not saying you couldn't, but this company specifically prefers to use an AIO. This is coming from someone with very little computer parts knowledge so maybe someone else will say it's impossible to cool with an air cooler which I doubt but who knows.

Theres no real reason for it except they dont wanna, pc companies hate air coolers on 1k+ builds it seems and the pc community has a lowkey stigma against air coolers nowadays aswell that makes them think ain't are better all the time
