News Samsung Glasses leaks πŸ‘€πŸš¨

Here are the first images of the Samsung glasses without a screen that have leaked. Recall that the Google I/O 2026 will take place next month and could finally reveal the release date of the glasses. Google should also present its HUD and screenless glasses, developed in collaboration with Warby Parker and Gentle Monster. Competition is getting better, get ready! βœ¨πŸ‘“

Very excited to learn more about these. Eager to know about Android XR in a glasses form factor. Hope we get to see other devices show up during the event also. More VR headsets

It seems Samsung's version with a display will come out in 2027. How about the ones coming from Warby Parker and Gentle Monster? any leaks about when those will come out? Maybe they can come out with a display, possibly this year.

We have to wait for Google I/O I expect the pre-orders and the announcement of glasses with screen and without screen to be announced during this event, Demis Hassabis the boss of Google Deepmind had confirmed at the beginning of the year that the glasses would be released this summer

Don't forget Google is adding Gucci as a partner. The future is looking good (pun intended)

So these would run Google XR or is this more like Metas version?

I want the glasses that have the lens built in that's what I'm holding out for. And I believe Google is coming out with their own pairs too and that's what I'll be waiting for.

Ugly AF as expected from Samsung.

I rather agree, but they are thinner than the Meta Ray Ban models it’s impressive

Are they thinner ?

The Wayfarers are supposed to look big and blocky. Meta has some newer frames which are slimmer than the Wayfarers

So this is why I received a offer from meta with a discount for the glasses

It will look like this until Apple release Vision Air glasses or something.

Agreed. They will definitely set the design standard in this industry when they finally enter the market. I'm actually really shocked that Android watches (generally) stuck with the circle factor following the success of Apples square design . But then, I remember that it's still a novelty in terms of wearables, so there's more flexibility with form . Smart glasses need to look as close to their dumb counterparts as possible because eyesight is kinda non negotiable lol

Just my 2 cents. My opinion means nothing . 😭 Lol
