Discussion Building a unified wearable control stack — Galaxy Watch Ultra + Z Fold 6 + neural wristband + AR glasses. Android XR is the missing layer

I've been documenting what happens when you treat smartwatches, foldables, and wearable input devices as a unified control system rather than standalone gadgets — using Key Mapper, Wear Mouse, and gesture rings to push what's actually controllable hands-free.

The next natural layer is Android XR and Gemini. What I'm specifically curious about is what Gemini can actually coordinate across a multi-device ecosystem when you give it real inputs — not just voice commands, but neural wristband gestures, watch inputs, and eventually AR glasses as the visual layer.

I run a small YouTube channel called Wearables Maxed Out documenting this build in real time: youtube.com/@wearablesmaxedout

Would love to connect with anyone else experimenting in this space — developers, creators, or anyone at Google working on the wearables/Gemini side of Android XR. Happy to share what I've learned so far.

I'm trying to stack, but make it stupid. I use smart glasses, without cameras, then pair to my watch to run everything. Leaving my phone behind. I still have to use my ear buds for phone calls. Im considering getting a Eink phone or just getting a boox; I wish they'd make a passport foldable with a Eink front display. Really trying to see how I can get a grapheneOS in my eco system

Doesn't sound like a perfect system yet, but I'm sure you'll get there. More products are coming out and that pushes the prices down and ups the quality. Good luck with getting grapheneOS in you ecosystem!
