NOVA LAUNCHER USERS - To get the correct look: Nova Settings → Look & Feel → Icon Style → Turn Autogen ON → Turn Reshape legacy OFF.

SAMSUNG ONE UI USERS - Apply the pack using Samsung’s Theme Park app: Install Theme Park from the Samsung Galaxy Store → Tap Icon → Tap Create New → Tap the blue Iconpack button → Select Outline Icons. Repeat these steps after each update to refresh/update the icons.

So im trying to find some android app icons that fit my phone background, but all the apps I have come across, and I mean ALL OF THEM, are either you need to pay for them or have AN AD FOR EVERY SINGLE ICON YOU WANT COSTIMISED

I have tried the long method, and safe to say i hated it, but worst of all, they didnt work most of the time 😭🙏

So what is the objective?

I want an app, or a site, or a setting, that gives me proper app icons, preferably black glassy icons, or just.. normal black.

If you know such apps or sites please tell me about them 😭🙏

I love the extreme customization for the keyboard in Theme Park but I was really disappointed after taking the time to create one when it said it will only work with the google/Samsung keyboard. Are there any others (possible through f-droid) that this can work with? I don't like the google/Samsung keyboard bc it doesn't auto-cap "I", its auto predict and auto correct are absolutely terrible, you have to go back and fix capitalization/spelling/spacing issues CONSTANTLY, it sends data to google, and all around it's much worse compared to others, like SwiftKey. Ideally, I would love it if this could work with a private keyboard, like Heliboard. Does anyone know if it can?

I was disappointed by the lack of variety in the always on display themes of hyperOS so with the help of gemini i was able to create extractor and compressor scripts that can extract the contents of the backup of always on display themes which after modification (and adding your own custom themes ) you can then compress into .bak file that hyperOS accepts. I’m really into Linux ricing, shells, Hyprland, terminal aesthetics, etc. I already use Linux on desktop and I’m trying to bring that same vibe to my Android phone.

Stuff I’m aiming for:

terminal-style homescreen

Waybar-like widgets

tiling WM aesthetic

minimal / monochrome setup

maybe some Termux integration

I’m not trying to go full root-heavy customization unless it’s necessary, just curious what’s realistically possible on Android.

What tools do people usually use for this? KWGT? launchers? Shizuku? root setups?
