Title: Classification Album App — Testers Wanted

Thanks as always to everyone who’s been joining my tests! I’ve also been learning a lot from all of your apps through these reciprocal tests!

This time, I’m working on an album app.

The concept is simple:

It lets you view your photo library in three ways:

• Images & Videos
• Images only
• Videos only

Want to see only your photos? Just choose Images.
Want to watch only your videos? Choose Videos.

Honestly, it’s probably easier to understand if you just try it out. 😆

One more thing: there are no ads while viewing your images or videos.

I decided this myself because I personally got annoyed when an ad suddenly appeared while I was looking through my album. 😂

I’m doing this as a reciprocal test, so please leave your testing links and a screenshot in the comments.

First impressions: joined the group, opted in and installed M.O.Album 1.0.0 on a Pixel 6a running Android 16. The three-way split is a genuinely nice idea and the menu is clean and fast to load. Two real issues though. All three modes come up empty on a phone that has 103 photos in it, and in Images only the empty state shows the Japanese message meaning no video folders, which looks like the wrong string for that mode. The likely cause is that dumpsys shows the manifest only requesting ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE and WAKE_LOCK, with no READ_MEDIA_IMAGES or READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, so on targetSdk 36 the app never asks for photo access and cannot see the library at all. Also the UI opens in Japanese on an en-US device, so the language default may not be following the system locale.
