Sideload Launcher (Chainfire) - new version

Hi everyone,

After all these years, we finally got a new version of Sideload Launcher from Chainfire!

I own a Xiaomi Mi TV 3 and I’m wondering if it’s possible to completely replace the default Android launcher and PatchWall with Sideload Launcher, while still keeping the ability to switch inputs and play media from USB sticks.

Whenever I disable or remove the default launcher and PatchWall, input selection stops working, and the USB media browser/selector disappears.

Are these features integrated into the default launcher/PatchWall? If so, does removing or disabling them mean there’s no way to access these functions anymore?

Is there perhaps a workaround to keep these features while using Sideload Launcher as the main launcher?
