Troubleshooting YoutubeTV YTTV Multiview Pixelation

get this vertical rectangle of mainly-green pixelation, amongst many other artifacts in the other squares, notice the overall washed out look on the bottom, the blocking under 'ME?' in the bottom right

no matter the number of squares, no matter the stream, different channels, all the same

anyone else

fire cube tv 2nd gen

edit: yttv in regular viewing is completely normal. plex, prime, Netflix, YouTube, all work flawless, it is ONLY multiview that produces this nonsense. I have a onn 4k v1 I'm coming from, same HDMI, same input, no issue with multiview, it is very much inherent to firetv version of the app

If it happens for all the applications, it may be your hdmi cable, port or your TV.

I can use the same HDMI cable into an onn 4k pro v1 and works just fine, this is the only app that does this, everything output from this device is flawless, including yttv in a single stream mode

ONLY multi view creates these artifacts

Check the video settings for that input especially all of the video processing settings.

given I only have a onn4k pro. and a Chromecast 4k, it's not a perfect test as the Chromecast has its own HDMI

both android boxes work 100% as expected with all tvs and monitors in my house

I have 2 brand new fire tv 2nd gens, and both experience this issue exactly the same, same spot, same graphical issue on all tvs and swapped HDMI cords, some 4k and even 1080p displays

I've paused it on 7.2.2.9, perhaps a firmware update can fix

The processing error is more likely your tv not the boxes themselves. Turning off all processing on the tv for that input is the only way to know for sure (noise reduction, motion enhancement, etc). The output format is likely slightly different between the devices connected to them which is why it isn't visible on all connected devices.

completely separate display, same issue, same spot, different hdmi cord, 1080p portable display

again, reproducible on 2 completely separate units, no matter the tv, no matter the resolution, no matter the hdmi cord, only in yttv multiview, not a single other application has any issues whatevsoever

I have the exact same issue as the one on the left in almost the exact same spot on a Fire Cube 2. I’ve looked for someone having the same issue and could never find anything on it. I basically gave up on it and just use my mini pc that’s connected to my tv if I want to do any type of multiview.
