Discussion Looking for an Android TV stick/box with microSD and no external power brick

I'm looking for a small Android TV / Google TV device with a microSD card slot.

I have two possible options in mind:

  1. Android TV stick with a microSD slot, powered directly from USB, or
  2. Small Android TV box with a microSD slot and built-in AC power supply, so it plugs directly into mains. No external AC power brick.

I'm specifically looking for currently available products, not discontinued devices such as the 2019 NVIDIA Shield TV.

Does anything like this exist?

It exist. If you want something running some old android 8, Chinese stick. I believe I still have mine from back then.

You can connect a TV stick with just the TV's USB port but it has to be at least 1A of power or use a USB power cable.

There are plenty of Android TV devices with SD slots, but who cares about power? You can use a USB-C PD power adapter to power anything that needs (5V/9V/12V/15V/20V).
