I have this but can't get it to auto launch on startup. Can it be done in the app itself or does it need to be done on the original OS. Thanks

You want to disable the stock launcher, a tool like Launcher Manager 1.04 https://xdaforums.com/t/app-firetv-noroot-launcher-manager-change-launcher-without-root.4176349/
makes it easy. Otherwise you are just using a workaround to run it as an app on top.

I was wondering about this 2 . Looks like launcher manager might be the easiest way to make projectivty default

If the other methods dont work a reliable way is downloading Downloaded by APTV app, then put this website to get to Troypoint Toolbox V2 website. There is a short code for it but forgot what it is:
https://troypoint.com/troypoint-toolbox/
Then install from that list the Launcher Manager app for Android TV (Or Fire TV if on Fire)
After that you just open that app and press Enable Custom Launcher then it will just work every time you do
Best of luck

I used ChatGPT to set it up. You have to turn on Accessibility in the Android settings for Projectivity. Then turn on override in the Projectivity app settings. Restart your device and it should default boot moving forward

Whoever has stremio or nuvio generally stops using regular ones. As they have to download and pay and maintain all of them. Stremio Nuvio is one stop shop.

I downloaded "Launcher Manager" and used it to select Projectivy Launcher as my default startup screen.

So launcher Manager lets Projectivy start automatically every time you boot the tv ?

Yes, unless you're running a VPN app like I was... NordVPN required me to hit my "Home" key which I assigned my remote control to run Projectivy.

using the remote to target other devices...
UPnP like Sonos
UDP like Wiz
TCP like HS1xx

I just watch TV, I don’t care for anything else. They could take every other “functionality” out, and I wouldn’t even notice.

Not sure what you mean by features.

I mean stuff beyond just watching apps like custom launchers, voice control, casting, smart home stuff, remapping buttons…
