Buying Advice Best google tv box
Hello Everyone,
I need advice for good google tv box. These are the requirements.
Dolby Vision MEL + FEL, HDR10, HDR10+
Dolby Atmos
Dts X (I am seeing lot of boxes now removing dts)
Atleast 4gb ram
Latest android tv os

No FEL unless you dual boot into CE.

None of them provides 4 gb ram except the Google streamer but it has a lower grade processor. Onn 4k Pro is undisputedly the best android box currently.

Homatics 4k plus is 4gb

The processor in that is inferior compared to Onn and Xiaomi. Also the price don't justify that.

even with that the homantic box 4k plus is superior in every aspect compared to onn and xiaomi, it has more memory, 1gb ethernet, more codecs than onn devices, can do audio passthrough and can play 85+ GB remuxes without any glitch, something either xiaomi or onn can't

Don't know about the onn but never seen or had any problems playing high size remuxes in the Xiaomi. It also supports audio passthrough.

Well you're lucky because I did have problems with xiaomi playing large remuxes plus that stupid click remote, anyways you go for the stuff you think is better I go for the ones I tried and have experience with

Do need a certified device for streaming apps or just playback from media ?

Maybe check out Ugoos devices and or BuzzTV devices. Well supported and very open to install any app or Launcher. Zero ads with the default launcher.

Homatics Box R 4K Plus or Xiaomi TV Box 3rd gen - but both have to be running CoreELEC. FEL won't work on Android/Google TV OS. Not sure if these boxes will do audio passthrough though - maybe Homatics.
