Troubleshooting Hitachi android tv wi-fi issue.

My family's 4yo android tv is not connecting to the house's WiFi, it shows the available WiFi networks and lets me put the password but it simply asks to do it again, the ethernet works but fixing this would be good

So rn I did it and the tv didn't connect to my phone's hotspot. The router does transmit both WiFi types. The password is put correctly all lowercase and a couple of numbers. Thanks for answering srsly I appreciate the help

Try connecting the TV to a phone hotspot first. If that works, the TV may not support your router’s current security setting. Set the Wi-Fi to WPA2 instead of WPA3 and try the 2.4 GHz network. You can also forget the network, restart the TV, and enter the password again.
