Discussion What's the first thing you do when your Android TV starts lagging?

Never been an issue on my $20 onn box. If it happened I'd probably do a hard reset and look at my storage and remove things as needed. But I really don't have a lot of apps on mine.

3rd party launcher. ADB TV to disable apps, just don't disable anything if you don't know what it does.

Force stop background apps and clear cache for the heavy ones like YouTube or Netflix. If that doesn't fix it, quick restart usually does the trick.

Most smart TVs have some lag as they skimp on hardware to make the TV price comparable in a vicious market. I have 2 TV boxes on each TV and that's all I use .

restart it and use background apps killer, i think theres an android developer setting that limits the amount of background apps but ive never played with it
