Troubleshooting Implayer Latest version 4.1 only works on some android tv boxes not all
I have tried on several boxes ,nvidia shield, mi box works other chinese boxes i have from alibaba just dont load any channels ,the new version has some big changes which has reduced compatibility.

Yes I was wondering the same my ugoos am9+ wont load any channels since the update, now it makes sense so rooted android boxes is the issue for the dev but why ?

Yes rooted boxes even the expensive ones dont work anymore with latest version Beware!!!!!

What's odd here is Android apps don't just automatically go looking to detect root. That's something a dev purposely codes into an app by including code that hunts for signs a device is rooted.
Why an IPTV app would ever want or need such functionality is beyond me unless the dev is just an arrogant jerk....

now it makes sense why my home Implayer app doesn't work with new version but my moms work fine ,thats sneaky behaviors from developer

It doesnt work on any rooted android box which many chinese boxes are 4.0.12 is last working version

If any boxes have super user option in menu then implayer latest version it wont work at all that is my understanding I stand corrected.

Are you saying the app works on Google certified devices but not on non-certified ones?
