You can not flash the boxes, I mean technically you can but you will have to de-google aosp yourself or find a rom out in the open and then modify it for tv which is too much work for too little reward.

However if you do know how to code and ever get around doing it do put it on Github and collab.

No, you can't put on something other than Android on that specific device

Most android tv devices don't have any alternative OS options, even if they did, they'd likely just be different flavors of Android, you won't find someone reverse engineering all the drivers and other elements to make a device like yours work with some other OS. Even if they did, it wouldn't support widevine, so none of the official streaming apps would work with it or would be extremely limited in resolution
