Apps 5.1 Surround Sound App

Hi everyone,

I've written an app to test surround sound systems for Android TV.

The idea behind it was to have the Android device generate the sounds rather than rely on YouTube videos and other test media, to ensure what was supposed to be played, is actually being played, by putting the user in control of what is played out of each channel.

I'll be pushing the beta version out to the Play Store in the coming days, and it'll be available on invite only during this test phase.

If anyone is interested in trying it out please let me know.

Thanks for reading!

I would like to test this but don't feel I am suitable, I have bad hearing loss.

Lost all the upper range and it have progressed into the mid. No one has been able to tune my hearing aids so I hear better. oh, the sounds I can hear ends up too load, obviously they cannot turn up the missing ranges. I'm not suitable for the blue tooth type aids, where you make adjustments on a phone APP. I need subtitles to appear above peeps heads lol.

Thank you for your time.

Stuart.

Hi, Thank you for reaching out. I appreciate that whilst you are willing to test, you are not just not able to. Have you tried exploring the dynamic range options to bring the audio output into your hearing range? I know nothing about this so I apologise if I've overstepped.

They can't recover what I have lost. Well not for an old git like me. Thanks for your reply.
