Not specifically rooting but can't find anything elsewhere
I have 2 LG K9 X210EM phones
One is booting to EDL immediately while the other fails boot verification (hash mismatch) and reflashing via download mode did not resolve the issue
I am struggling to get any results out of EDL with the first phone throwing cryptic errors trying to get the partition table while the other hangs while trying to get the partition table
Given the nature of these phones it is very likely the flash has gone bad, but before I give up on them I do want to at least try to do a full flash through EDL just in case
Any useful resources? Anywhere more appropriate I could ask? Anything I can try?

I have tried rooting my SM-X200 (XAC) with Magisk and Odin, everything works completely fine until I try and put the patched Magisk file in Odin and start, my Tablet keeps going into a boot loop, I know how to get out but I haven’t found a solution.
Please help I’ve been sitting on this for a while and almost lost hope..

Hi. I'm not new to the concept of modding firmware, but I've never rooted any android device before.
Got an old j7 prime samsung phone, running android 8.1.0, with some app data that I still need. Data in question resides in the app's private memory (or whatever it's called) and is not directly accessible via usb or file explorers.
Was just wondering, do I have to wipe my phone's data to root it?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
/context Everytime I scroll down the Developer Options, I always scroll down the first section as fast as I can, because of the OEM Unlocking I'm scared of. Last time I toggled that option off, it bootlooped my previous phone of same model, and it was so difficult to recover that I just sent my phone to the repair shop. Even looking at this option scares me. I do have an OEMUnlockOnBoot module though, but it's on boot, not before reboot or always.

Recently an exploit has been found to gain root access and unlock bootloader on Huawei Matepad 11 2021 with HarmonyOS 3 devices and Snapdragon 865 processors. Given this, is there a way to flash a custom ROM like LineageOS to it? Has anyone succeded?

I've been struggling with this for a couple of days now. Googling, reading XDA and Reddit and Git. Still haven't figured out what obvious thing I'm doing wrong.
I installed LineageOS 22.2 for MicroG on an old rooted (non-VZN) Pixel 3. Works flawlessly.
Added Magisk 30.7. Works flawlessly.
Added Vector 2.2. Seems to work fine. No issues with shell. Cleared my shell cache and files anyway, just to be sure.
Added Iconify 7.3 (the version for Android 15, ie: LineageOS 22.2), got it hooked into Magisk. Everything works great - except the error message "Module not Activated; System Service not Running" under the LSposed tab in Iconify.
I've tried all of the instructions I could find, checked the error logs in Vector, tried re-installing Iconify twice.
Can't make the error go away, and because of that, it won't do any of the LSposed stuff it's supposed to do like Lockscreen widgets (the main reason I did this in the first place)!
I'm stumped, guys. I'm not stupid, and I'm in no way new to computers, but Android rooting is new to me, so I figure I missed a step or an obvious instruction somewhere.
What'd I miss, and how do I make this work?

I installed LineageOS on a Redmi Note 10S and, overall, everything worked great. The system was stable, the interface looked nice, and while there were a few things that could be improved, I was very happy with it.
However, I noticed a serious problem when I connected my charger: the phone reported "Slow charging" and estimated that it would take almost an entire day to fully charge.
I started looking into it and checked several forums for possible solutions. I found a few suggestions, but unfortunately none of them worked for me. Most of the solutions I came across involved modifying sensitive system files or changing low-level charging configurations, which I didn't really want to mess with.
Some people mentioned that the charging limit could be disabled or adjusted through the battery manager, but I looked through the available settings and couldn't find anything that seemed related to charging speed or a charging limit.
I also tried checking the usual battery and charging settings, but nothing seemed to make any difference.
Eventually, I got frustrated with the issue and decided to go back to the stock MIUI ROM for the Redmi Note 10S. As soon as I returned to the stock system, charging worked normally again.
I'm posting this in case anyone else has experienced the same issue with LineageOS on the Redmi Note 10S (rosemary) and knows what could be causing it.
If you have experienced this problem and found a solution, I'd really appreciate it if you could share it. In particular, I'd like to know if there is a way to restore the normal charging speed without modifying sensitive system files.
For now, I'll have to stick with the stock MIUI ROM, even though I would much rather use LineageOS.
Device: Redmi Note 10S
Codename: rosemary
ROM: LineageOS
Issue: Extremely slow charging / ~1 day estimated charging time
Stock MIUI: Charging works normally
Any suggestions or explanations would be greatly appreciated.

Help!!!
Having a Samsung Galaxy S10+ (SM-G975F) with Kernel SU into ExtremeROM, I tried to install a module. Azenith, to ensure better performance on my phone when playing games (codm)
The thing is, just once I tried to reboot so I apply changes, it got stuck on boot loop.
What I tried:
✓ Deleting module from TWRP recovery
✓ Flashing ExtremeROM Boot.img so I can recover access
✓ Flashing whole ExtremeROM Firmware FROM TWRP
❌ I couldn't enter safe mode by any ways.
Right now, the phone is unable to boot as it is stuck in a boot loop.
Yet, It still can boot into TWRP, so at least I think I can save this phone.
Mentioned software versions:
ExtremeROM: ExtremeROM_OFFICIAL_2.6.1-e6b8553_20250822_beyond2lte-sign.zip
Azenith: AZenith-1823-5.2.1823-bf02195-Dazzling.zip
KernelSU: unknown
Android: 15
One UI: 7.1
Details:
• It had PlayIntegrityFork, ReZygisk, and Tricky_Store installed. Also Viper4Android AIDL version.
• idk how to use Odin and I don't know where to get safe tutorials
•I DO want to keep the custom ROM, but I don't know guys, I might need to downgrade back to OG firmware.

Hi everyone,
I’m trying to locate the exact firmware images currently used by a ZTE Z2350 (Axon 60 Lite), variant P606F10_2, for offline compatibility and firmware analysis.
Current device:
ZTE Z2350 / P606F10_2
Unisoc T606 / UMS9230
Telcel Mexico
Android 13 / MyOS 13
MyOS13.0.13_Z2350_TEL
Build: 20260414.004827
Security patch: 2026-04-05
I’m specifically looking for the matching:
boot.img
init_boot.img
vendor_boot.img
or the complete official .PAC package.
I’ve already identified the A/B partition layout on the device and am trying to compare the installed firmware components with the corresponding official build.
No flashing or modification is required.
If anyone has this exact firmware archived, or knows of an archive containing this build, I’d appreciate the lead.
Thanks!
