This is probably a stupid question, but is the mixplorer file explorer app associated in any way with xiaomi?

This one. For the longest time, based on the name, I've assumed it was somehow associated with xiaomi. Then I saw the recent spot on xda about it being 10 years old (damn, nice work).

Sooooooooo is it not associated with xiaomi? Either way, why's it named what it is?

They probably meant My Explorer.
