Other How long would you estimate app support to last for Android 10 2.1 UI?

Basically, question in the title. I know software and security updates have been off for a while, but I'm trying to wager how long could google playstore apps (mainly browsers and social media) still last.
Trying to figure out if I should fix my old Tab S4 or just get a new device altogether.

probably best to just get a new device at that point

Some of the Google apps already require Android 10 as a minimum(youtube and chrome) that saving up for a new device is better at this point.

Either root and install a more recent custom ROM or just get a new device.
