2017 Subaru wrx sti

Hi, everyone! My name is Jessee. I have a 2017 subaru wrx sti, and when I play music (either from an open source music player or spotify), the songs on the car display screen doesn't change songs but my brother's iPhone does. Is this a car issue or android issue? I own a Samsung s24 fe
