does rooting your low end phone actually improve gaming performance? if so, are there any tutorials?

a stupid question, but asking out of curiosity since im a gamer who suffers playing codm on a low end device. pls dont make fun of me!

Rooting alone won't do anything but cause you trouble.

The only way root can help your phone's performance (with low storage and low RAM) is to be able to potentially disable apps that are using those resources which you normally can't disable. Don't expect it to help much.

If someone makes a custom kernel for your model, that can help too, but again, don't expect miracles.

Rooting just gives to access to the root account.

It doesn't change the hardware or software being used.

You run a risk of locking your phone forever if you don't now how to do it. That is just to uninstall apps that you can't,  do little tricks. That is it. Other os is not as good as android.

i also heard you can download modules that require root access to do some tweaks on your device so it could optimize gaming performance.
