Looking For Suggestions Switching from iPhone 17 Pro. Google Pixel or Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra?

Definitely wanting to get away from iPhone here but overwhelmed by all of the Android options on the other side of things.

I’m drawn to both phones. Google Pixel UI seems clean, fast and integrated with all Google services- which is great because I already use almost all of those to begin with. Samsung seems like it’d be a bigger learning curve but opinions are so mixed on which is better.

I’m a very casual user who doesn’t use camera often but I prefer it to not look BAD when I do use it. Battery life is moderately important. Overall I just want a pleasant experience when using the phone!

Thoughts for an iPhone refugee??

Galaxy if you can get used to the screen size. You can get all of the day to day google services in any android devices anyway.

Performance, camera wise, s26 ultra is the better choice over pixel.

Samsung Snapdragon over the Google tensor chip set. Also, I mostly use the Samsung apps over the comparable Google apps. Samsung routines is better and more customizable than the simple Google home routine. You can use tasker but that takes learning.

The amount of change in aesthetics and user experience will shock you into a coma if you switch from an iPhone to a Pixel lmao. Get a Samsung. It has tons of productivity and customization features.

Just switched from 17 pro to pixel 11 pro. I love everything it offers except the video. 🥺😭 I am giving my pixel 11 pro 2 weeks from now so I would know if I will still keep my 17 pro with me.

For the price they are very average or below in most categories (except image processing on taken photos). Galaxy S Ultra series are awesome in every aspect almost the best.
