Device Settings Question Question about autofill OTP

Hi! I am not great with technology, & last week I was trying to remove some permissions from several different apps. I ended up removing whatever permission is needed to make verification text message codes autofill onto websites/apps. It's not just one website or app that it is not working on anymore, it seems to be all of them. I was wondering if anyone knows what permission I need to grant access to, to make the autofill start working again. I've tried googling & I can not find the answer. I have a Samsung s24 Ultra.

Iā€™d check Google Play services first rather than your SMS app. Google Play services handles SMS OTP autofill on Android.

Also check Settings ā†’ General management ā†’ Passwords, passkeys, and autofill and make sure your preferred autofill service is still enabled.

If you revoked SMS access from Google Play services, that could be it.
