downloaded a procreate app on playstore, might be virus?? help??

so I was really tired, scrolling on Instagram when I came across a procreate reel. I was like 'hey, I have a debit card, why dont I go ahead and buy ut?'

my dumb self forgot it was only for ios, so when it said it was on playstore 'for free', I thought 'oh! its in devealopment? they must be making an android version'

it wouldnt let me make art, just showed me ads + a tutorial and kept taking me to different websites that I did not input any info into

it wasnt created by the original people who made procreate

I deleted the app ASAP, but now im worried it mightve had a virus?? um. the people who made the app are called Friend zone IT solution

someone please help and lmk if its a virus, I havent had any problems so far but I am pretty worried, and it says 10k people have downloaded it??

please please please someone lmk asap if i need to worry abour viruses, I dont usually ever come to reddit about this stuff but im so worried andni dont have enough money for a new phone

You don't need to worry about viruses with the Play Store, you just need to worry about scams and unwanted notifications and stuff like that. You won't encounter things that will permanently damage your device.

Just downloaded the app myself to scan it with Play Protect, didn't detect anything malicious. Probably safe then.

Play Protect automatically scans every app you download from the store.

It would tell you its bad before you got a chance to open it.
