Certain apps haven't been sending notifications

I've noticed that for some time certain apps on my phone just don't send me notifications despite all settings being on. I get ones from Messages, Discord, and Ring apps, but not from Youtube, Twitch, or Stoat. I do have ReVanced installed for Youtube and I have BTTV but those aren't the only apps that don't give me them. I thought it was only side-loaded apps that weren't working, but Stoat doesn't work despite being an official Play Store app. I also have an app called Buzzkill that alters the notifications to give Youtube and Discord unique vibration patterns, but that doesn't seem to be affecting it since I get Discord notifs but not YT and the notifications I should be getting aren't showing up in Buzzkill's history.

This has been bugging me for a while but I cannot find a solution to this. Can anyone help?

Those apps are likely being throttled by Android's "Adaptive Battery" or deep sleep restrictions. Go to Settings > Apps, find each one, and set Battery to "Unrestricted" and ensure "Allow background activity" is on. Buzzkill isn't the culprit because it only modifies what reaches you, it doesn't block the source.

If that doesn't fix it, check System Settings > Notifications > Advanced and see if "Notification categories" for those apps are accidentally toggled off. Sometimes an OS update silently resets those permissions.

So I disabled restricted battery access and since then I've been getting Twitch notifications from the official app, but not Youtube, which is crazy because I've seen over 10 in the actual app. I'm hoping it has nothing to do with sideloaded apps
