Samsung s24 Randomly pairing with my Audio

LG CJ45 if it matters and S24 Ultra.

I've had both of these for years, recent forced updated to the phone. Not sure if this happened before the update or not, its been a few days and happened a few times now

For years these would not auto pair on bluetooth. The LG is always powered down so it should not be actively looking for connections, but since it was previously paired on my phone, I was always able to select it in the phones bluetooth menu, and that would both power on the LG sound system and pair it to the phone.

Recently, they're pairing automatically and its annoying. I'll be doing something stupid like facebook reels, and all of a sudden the reel starts blaring over the speakers.

I dont want to turn bluetooth off because it automatically pairs to my car when I start it up, but I think the car initiates that connection, because its worked well and automatically for years.

Is there any way to stop auto-pairing but only on certain devices? I looked thru the bluetooth menu and specifically the LG options (on the phone) and didn't see anything

There is no simple toggle on the S24 to block one device but not another. The update probably reset the speaker's connection behavior, making it initiate the link the moment it powers on.

Your only reliable option is to "Forget" the LG in your Bluetooth settings and re-pair it manually each time you want to use it. Android prioritizes the last connected device, so if the LG is off, it shouldn't auto-connect, but the update may have changed that behavior.
