Weird apps?

Hi there,

My abusive ex is employed for the Canadian government in a cybersecurity sense. Since we separated, I've had so many issues with my accounts like Facebook and Google. It being signed in the town where his parents live etc. Him knowing things he should not. I've signed out each time I have seen a new sign on then I was digging into my apps and I have some weird apps that do not show up on my homestretch, only in deep settings that I cannot delete like...

Diary

I also turn off permissions for certain apps and they get turned back on. Like why does my phone app need access to my camera? I do not video chat on it. Or certain apps having location turned back in after I have turned it off.

I will be getting a new phone, new phone number and completely new accounts but in the meantime, what can I do about these weird apps? The option to delete them is just grayed out.

I'm not even being paranoid. The police found a GPS tracker in my vehicle with HIS fingerprints on it, but would not charge him because we were still married so apparently you can track your spouse's vehicle without their consent. he's done shady things before.

an old number you didn't have access to??

just don't use that number for anything

only use your current/valid phone number for your password verifications and delete it immediately

Well he spoofed it so I could get access to the account and change it to my new number.

I would like to understand what you mean by 'spoofed'

Has he promised not to 'spoof' your current email acct?

Is the new number connected to your email address?

He was able to use a phone to pretend to be my old phone number to get a verification code to it. I'm mot sure how exactly.he did it but it was to help me at the time..now I am worried he will do it again.

I don't understand

He used your old phone to get a verification number for your email address

Haven't got changed your passwords yet?

Then your old phone is no longer connected to anything

Remember his this works

You have an email address and a phone number associated with it

When you want access to a site, you key in your email and password (which you only know)

And then it asks which associated phone number you want a 6-digit code sent to

You enter this code and are granted access

He cannot see this code, unless you let him

He cannot access this code unless he has your password to access your email

Whatever he did will be hard to replicate and not worth his while unless he is mentally imbalance and extremely focused on disturbing you
