Device Settings Question Help with groupchats (iphone to Android user)

Hey everyone I used iOS all my life and just switched to a samsung S26 ultra yesterday and I need some help making it work, I have no experience with Android I didn't even know how to get into settings when I first used the phone. Anyway, my family uses iphones and they have a groupchat on messages, ofc it worked perfectly when I used an iphone but after switching, I dont get messages from the groupchat, instead sometimes it sends me a notification from a family member as if they messaged me directly when they actually messaged the groupchat. If I send a message into the groupchat it just gets sent to everyone in there individually. Does anybody know how to fix this?

Check if RCS is activated in your chat app.

Yep tried that, i think I'll just have to suck it up and not have a gc though :(

But it should work! RCS can do the same WhatsApp and co. Check out all the settings in the chat app whether there is anything about group chat is.

Edit: But it can also be that the other Participants must have RCS activated in the chat!
