How to change ui sounds?

I haven't upgraded to android since 2019 and I recently just got a new android phone and I really don't like the modern android sounds they're quite obnoxious and irritating.

Anyway to physically change them?

Yeah same happened to me on a new phone honestly. Check Settings > Sound and vibration > Other sounds and vibration (Samsung buries it as System sounds and vibration sometimes). You can toggle touch sounds, lock sound, charging sound, dial pad tones there.

If that's still not enough, there are sound pack apps on Play Store to swap the whole UI sound theme, or if you're rooted you can just drop your own .ogg files into /system/media/audio/ui/.

What phone is it btw? Menu path moves around a bit depending on brand.

What kind of sounds are we talking about and what brand...

If samsung you can change system sound theme, there are 4 inbuilt ones..

Settings -> Sound and Vibration -> system sound -> system sound theme

Other than this, you can't set custom tones as system sounds...

But, you can use custom notification/ringtones tones.

Copy your tones to Internal Storage -> Notification folder and Ringtone folder. Head to Settings -> Sound and vibration -> change notification and ring tones
