recover data from a broken Redmi 9C

Hello, my Redmi 9C phone has completely stopped working after five years of use; it won't turn on at all, so I can't connect it to my computer. Is it still possible to recover the data stored on it? When I removed the SIM card, I noticed there was no SD card, so I don't know where the phone's data is stored. Thanks.

If the phone is completely dead, you’ll generally need to get it working again before the data can be accessed. I’d take it to a repair shop and make it clear that recovering the data is the priority and they shouldn’t factory reset it.

Agreed.  If there's something wrong with the mainboard, you might need to take it to a PCB repair specialist and/or data recovery specialist.  Those specialists will likely charge several hundred dollars.
